Dr. David Hyland, Director of Space Science and Space Engineering Research
The International Symposium on Asteroid Mitigation and Exploration, was held in College Station, Texas, and brought together an international community of researchers and practitioners to discuss new research results, mitigation and exploration strategies, international collaboration, and public awareness. In additional to presentations from attendees, a round table was held to discuss future international cooperation, public awareness, and public policy statements.
We thank all those who attended this year and we wish a cordial welcome to those planning to attend next year's conference as well!
